Christmas is saved: Reach's first-ever live interactive experience 'The Gift Show' has everything you need in one (virtual) place and you're going to want to be involved!
Lockdown, schmockdown – this year we’re bringing the Christmas shopping to you through an exclusive virtual event, fully delivered in-house by the Reach team and we have opportunities for brands to come on board as title, category and sampling sponsors and be linked with the idea of gifting this Christmas.
'The Gift Show' is an interactive, live experience that will take place on November 19th at 7pm live from Fota Island in Cork. Hosted by the inimitable and RSVP Live favourite, James Patrice alongside Virgin Media's Laura Woods, together with our sponsor(s) we'll officially launch Christmas and help our guests choose gifts for the whole family from the comfort of their own sofas.
Already we have brands like Carphone Warehouse, Lambay Whiskey, Slingshot Gin, Bellamianta, Benefit, Beverly Hills Formula, John Frieda, Aveda and Ballymaloe gifting us with their presence (excuse the pun!)
After months spent tracking down the year’s top gifts for James and his fabulous guests to discuss, we’re putting them all together in a two-hour live stream special that will make the Toy Show look like, well, kid’s stuff! We'll have guest goody bags worth over €200 packed with products, gifts and samples from top brands and a special live draw with dozens of stunning spot prizes – €1,000s worth of holidays, treatments and more to be won!
There'll be LIVE performances from number one country singer Nathan Carter and X Factor's Brendan Murray, special guests Emer McLysaght and Sarah Breen (authors of bestselling 'What A Complete Aisling' book series) will be there alongside GAA hero Bernard Brogan, makeup guru Mark Rogers and more surprises on the night!
The event is in partnership with The Simon Community, with donations to the charity on the night.
Content generated from the show will be heavily promoted across our entire portfolio of sites - RSVP Live, Dublin Live, Cork Beo and Irish Mirror - using social video, native content, display and print to guarantee the show is as influential and joyous as possible.
