Keri Heatlie: "It was the best decision I ever made & ultimately has lead me to where I am today."

Business Comms

Our NI Account Manager on what's top of her bucket list, her most valued item and one of the biggest decisions she's had to make so far.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I always quite fancied being an actress, some might say I can be a little dramatic at times so maybe I’m still fulfilling that dream!

Social media platform of choice?

Probably Instagram, I have definitely lost time I’ll never get back scrolling through Instagram stories!

What’s your favourite movie?

A Time to Kill is up there for me. Netflix are showing some absolute classic’s at the moment and I recently watched this movie again and rediscovered my love for it (and Matthew McConaughey..!)

What talent would you want to possess if you could?

I would love to be able to sing!

Someone you might be starstruck to meet?

There are a number of people I could put in here but I think right now I would literally die if I met Cristiano Ronaldo!!!

What do you consider your greatest achievement to date?

My children Ben & Zara, obviously I’m biased but they really are 2 awesome human beings!

If you could change your name, what would you change it to?

No one ever spells my name correctly so I’d change it to something that you couldn’t get wrong like Emma or Eve perhaps.

What’s your favourite meal?

I’m not a vegetarian but I recently had the most amazing dish when I went out for dinner to a local restaurant – Miso glazed aubergine and black rice, I literally can’t stop thinking about it!! At home I love a good chilli or Thai Green Chicken Curry.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Getting into my comfies at a ridiculously early hour in the winter and binging a good TV series.  I love sitting down to a 9pm drama!!

Biggest life lesson to date?

Stay optimistic, nothing good ever comes from a negative attitude.

What is one of the biggest decisions you’ve had to make?

I’m finding this a really difficult question to answer, I guess it would have to be during my career and taking the leap of leaving a “market leader” in their field to go to a much smaller company. It was literally the best decision I ever made and ultimately has led me to where I am today with Reach which wouldn’t have happened had I not made that decision.

Favourite blogger/influencer?

Instagram def plays a part here too, I am 100% a sucker for being influenced when it comes to clothes/makeup/beauty products! I love Pippa O’Connor and Jade Holland Cooper.

If you could go back in time, where would you go?

If I was properly time travelling I would love to go back to the days of Queen Elizabeth the first and be one of the ladies at court, hopefully I’d manage to hold on to my head..! If just going back to a time in my own life, I’d take myself back to one of our family Summer holidays when I was about 10 years old, I’d love to relive those carefree days.

What is your favourite quote and why?

“What’s meant for you will never go by you” is a quote I have lived by for most of my adult life and I honestly do believe it to be true.  If something is really meant to be right for you then I 100% believe it will happen.

Most valued item?

The earrings my Mum gave me for my 30th birthday.  My Dad died when I was 13 years old and she had them made from her engagement ring so that I could feel that the present was from both of them.

Most overused word or phrase

Right now..? COVID!

What is top of your bucket list?

I really want to visit lots of amazing cities with my kids & the hubster, I want to be with them and see their reactions when they experience visiting the likes of Paris, Rome, London, Barcelona for the first time.
