Business Comms

Our Marketing Director on the worst job she's ever done, how she unwinds and her biggest life lesson to date.

Gin or wine?

Usually both 😊

What’s your favourite meal?

A juicy medium rare steak with my homemade mushroom sauce, creamed potatoes, roasted Mediterranean veg and must-have tobacco onions.

What’s your greatest achievement ?

That would have to be my little boy Oliver who makes me so proud and happy every day.

If you could do any other job what would it be …

I started out studying to be a criminologist  but took a wrong turn 😊 so I would love to know how that might have been.

What’s the worst job you’ve ever done ?

I lived in Vancouver for a year after Uni and one of my jobs was in a specialist shoe shop. We helped fit shoes for people with problem feet. It was not enjoyable!

Where’s your favourite place?

I would have to say by the lakes in Fermanagh, being from there.

Where do you want to travel next?

I’ve really missed travelling abroad the past couple of years and have so many places on the bucket list, but our last cancelled holiday was to Ibiza, so we’ll start there.

How do you unwind?

Colouring -in, doing jigsaws and playing chess with my little boy is instant de-stress for me. I also try to build in a good walk and some yoga daily, and in the summer lots of gardening.

Best advice you’ve been given and would give others?

As Oscar Wilde would say: "Be yourself, everyone else is already taken."

To the audience: In a world of fake news and fragmented media, it’s so important that we all continue to support and promote good quality, trustworthy, local journalism, now more than ever. Thanks to all our loyal readers who continue to support and inspire us.
