Business Comms

Our Account Manager in NI on the worst job she’s done, the most expensive thing she’s ever bought and how the best piece of advice she’s been given is "every accomplishment starts with the decision to try".

It’s our round, what are you having?

Tanqueray gin and ginger ale.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A pop star.

Social media platform of choice?

Instagram.

Favourite writer?

I tend to read more motivational books such as ‘Girl Boss’ by Sophia Amoruso but when it comes to novels I am particularly partial to Dean Koontz.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given?

Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try.

Someone you might be starstruck to meet?

Peter Gadiot...ladies, Google him and you’ll see why!

What do you consider your greatest achievement to date?

I followed my dreams and lived in London for a short while in my early twenties to pursue a musical career, I then decided to quit my full-time job in NI, return to higher education as a mature student, completed my CAM degree and hit the ground running with my career at Reach and I have been here since then!

I’ve also been pretty lucky in my personal life, getting to sing at Oxygen festival, supporting Nancy Griffith in the NI Nashville festival and fire performing for five seasons and consecutive years in Breeze club in Cyprus, Limassol.

Hidden talent?

Fire eater and dancer.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

Listening to early noughties R&B...Mis-Teeq, Samantha Mumba, Ashanti, Jojo pre-adolescence etc. Oh and ABBA!

Biggest life lesson to date?

Try not to take things for granted.

What would your superpower be?

To freeze time...Bernard’s Watch needs to be a real thing!

Favourite blogger/influencer?

Kelsey Wells.

If you could go back in time, where would you go?

I would probably like to go back to the mid-’90s and appreciate being a kid again, making up dance routines to the Spice Girls with my sister and all my cousins...without any responsibilities and the only dilemma was who was going to be Posh Spice and who was going to be Scary...I was always voted Scary (I blame the hair).

What is the worst job you’ve done?

Selling glow bands in BCM / Magaluf at the age of 16...yes! My parents let me spend nine weeks working and living abroad.

What’s the most expensive thing you’ve bought (excluding property)?

My Burberry tan trench coat.

Most overused word or phrase:

SORRY!

What is top of your bucket list?

There are many places I’d love to visit but at the moment, top of my list is Iceland and the famous Blue Lagoon.
